4.5.1. 新的預設檔案系統：XFS

XFS 是個極高效能、可縮放的檔案系統，並且就預設值會被建置於高需求的應用程式中。在 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 中，XFS 乃預設的檔案系統，並且支援於所有架構上。
Ext4 的大小比例與 XFS 無從比較，它將會在所有架構上受到完整支援，並且將會繼續擁有持續性的開發與支援。

4.5.1.1. 掛載選項變更

和 ext3 與 ext4 不同，XFS 檔案系統就預設值會啟用 user_xattr 和 acl 掛載選項。這代表若您在指令列上或是 /etc/fstab 中包含這些選項的話，您將會遇上類似以下的錯誤。 
$ mount -o acl /dev/loop0 test
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop0,
       missing codepage or helper program, or other error
      
       In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail or so.
Ext3 和 ext4 檔案系統就預設值不會啟用這些屬性，當您使用 mount 指令或是藉由 /etc/fstab 來掛載它們時，檔案系統將會接受這些選項。
