訂閱管理程式（Subscription Manager）
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 中的「訂閱管理程式」會在使用附加檔案之後立即產生
redhat.repo 檔案，而不會等待 yum 工具程式。
「
訂閱類型」欄位已經納入「訂閱管理員」程式中。使用者可以在命令列與圖形化介面中檢視欄位，得知目前使用的是何種訂閱類型，用以決定訂閱行為之屬性。
使用者現在可以透過「訂閱管理程式」的圖形化介面直接啟用、停用軟體庫。
命令列模式中多加了數種功能：

OpenSCAP 的 NIST 認證
OpenSCAP 1.0.8 已透過 NIST（國家標準與科技委員會，National Institute of Standards and Technology）的 SCAP（安全內容自動化通訊協定，Security Content Automation Protocol）1.2 之「身份認證配置掃描」（Authenticated Configuration Scanner）類別的認證，取得 CVE（一般弱點與暴險，Common Vulnerabilities and Exposure）認證選項。OpenSCAP 提供的函示庫可以剖析、評量 SCAP 標準的每個組成單位，方便建立新的 SCAP 工具。同時，OpenSCAP 提供了多用途的工具，用來將內容格式化為文件，或根據此內容掃描系統。
