之前的引导选项
upgrade 已由安装过程中的一个阶段代替，在该阶段安装程序提示更新或者重新安装在系统中检测到的 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 的早期版本。
但是如果更改了
/etc/fedora-release 文件的内容，安装程序可能无法正确地检测出旧版本的 Red Hat Enterprise Linux。引导选项upgradeany 会略过安装程序的这个检测并允许在旧版本未被正确标识的情况下升级 Red Hat Enterprise Linux。
