Lançamentos anteriores do Red Hat Enterprise Linux suportavam as arquiteturas 32 bits e 64 bits POWER (
ppc e ppc64 respectivamente). O Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 suporta somente em arquiteturas 64 bits POWER (ppc64).
