14.3.3. Problemas com Tabelas de Partição

If you receive an error after the Disk Partitioning Setup (Seção 12.16, “Configuração do Particionamento de Disco”) phase of the installation saying something similar to

The partition table on device hda was unreadable. To create new partitions it must be initialized, causing the loss of ALL DATA on this drive.

talvez você não tenha uma tabela de partições naquele drive ou a tabela de partições no drive talvez seja irreconhecível pelo software de particionamento usado no programa de instalação.

Independentemente do tipo de instalação sendo executado, você deve sempre fazer backups dos dados existentes.
