1.4. 데이터 웨어하우스 샘플링 규모 변경

Red Hat Virtualization에는 데이터 웨어하우스가 필요합니다. 데이터 웨어하우스는 Manager와 같은 머신이나 Manager에 액세스할 수 있는 별도의 머신에 설치 및 설정할 수 있습니다. 일부 설정에는 기본 데이터 보존 설정이 필요하지 않을 수 있으므로 engine-setup에서는 두 개의 데이터 샘플링 규모, 즉 Basic 및 Full을 제공합니다.
  • Full을 선택하면 2.4절. “ovirt-engine-dwhd.conf의 데이터 웨어하우스 서비스 애플리케이션 설정”에 있는 데이터 보존 설정 기본값이 사용됩니다(데이터 웨어하우스가 원격 호스트에 설치된 경우 권장됨).
  • Basic을 선택하면 DWH_TABLES_KEEP_HOURLY 값이 720으로, DWH_TABLES_KEEP_DAILY 값이 0으로 감소하여 Manager 머신의 로드가 완화됩니다(Manager와 데이터 웨어하우스를 동일한 머신에 설치한 경우 권장됨).
샘플링 규모는 설치하는 동안 engine-setup을 통해 설정됩니다.

Setup can backup the existing database. The time and space required for the database backup depend on its size. This process takes time, and in some cases (for instance, when the size is few GBs) may take several hours to complete.
