Red Hat 개발자 툴셋에서는 별도의 고속 수명 주기에서 안정적인 최신 버전의 오픈 소스 개발자 도구를 제공합니다. Red Hat 고객은 활성 Red Hat 개발자 서브스크립션을 사용할 수 있습니다.
Red Hat 개발자 툴셋 2는 현재 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7에서 애플리케이션 개발을 지원하지 않습니다. 하지만 Red Hat 개발자 툴셋은 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6에서의 애플리케이션 개발을 지원하고 있으며 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 또는 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 마이너 릴리즈에 배포할 수 있습니다.
