4.3.2. Itanium 시스템에서 설치 프로그램 부팅하기

Your Itanium system should be able to boot the Red Hat Enterprise Linux installation program directly from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux CD #1. If your Itanium cannot boot the installation program from the CD-ROM (or if you want to perform a hard drive, NFS, FTP, or HTTP installation) you must boot from an LS-120 diskette. Refer to 4.3.2.2절. “LS-120 디스켓으로 설치 프로그램 부팅하기” for more information.

4.3.2.1. DVD/CD-ROM으로 설치 프로그램 부팅하기

Red Hat Enterprise Linux CD #1을 사용하여 부팅하시려면 다음과 같은 절차를 따르십시오:
  1. Red Hat Enterprise Linux CD #1을 제외한 다른 모든 매체를 시스템에서 제거하십시오.
  2. 부트 옵션 메뉴에서 EFI Shell을 선택하십시오.
  3. At the Shell> prompt, change to the file system on the CD-ROM. For example, in the above sample map output, the system partition on the CD-ROM is fs1. To change to the fs1 file system, type fs1: at the prompt.
  4. 설치 프로그램을 부팅하기 위해 elilo linux를 입력하십시오.
  5. Go to 4장. Intel® 및 AMD 시스템에 설치하기 to begin the installation.
