4.2. Red Hat Virtualization におけるプロキシーを使用した電源管理
Red Hat Virtualization Manager はフェンスエージェントとは直接通信を行いません。その代わりに、Manager はプロキシーを使用して電源管理のコマンドをホストの電源管理デバイスに送ります。Manager は VDSM を利用して電源管理デバイスの操作を実行し、環境内の別のホストがフェンシングプロキシーとして使用されます。
以下のいずれかを選択することができます。
- フェンシングが必要なホストと同じクラスター内にある任意のホスト
- フェンシングが必要なホストと同じデータセンター内にある任意のホスト
有効なフェンシングプロキシーホストのステータスは UP または Maintenance です。
