6.5. Inter-Satellite Sync の使用

Inter-Satellite Sync が設定されたので、その設定を使用してマスター Satellite からスレーブサーバーにチャンネルを同期できるようになりました。
スレーブサーバーで、/etc/rhn/rhn.conf ファイルの以下の行にマスターサーバーのホスト名と SSL 証明書のファイルパスを設定します。 
iss_parent      = master.satellite.domain.com
iss_ca_chain    = /usr/share/rhn/RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT
以下のように入力し satellite-sync コマンドを実行します。 
satellite-sync -c your-channel

注記

satellite-sync コマンドのコマンドラインオプションにより、/etc/rhn/rhn.conf ファイル内のデフォルト/カスタマイズ設定はいずれも上書きされます。

6.5.1. 開発ステージングサーバーと実稼働 Satellite 間の同期

管理者は、実稼働使用可能なカスタムチャンネルを持つステージングサーバーから実稼働 Satellite Server にデータを同期する必要がある場合があります。
例えば、実稼働 Satellite Server は通常 Satellite Server から直接同期してコンテンツをアップデートしますが、RHN Satellite 開発サーバーから実稼働用の情報を同期することもあります。

通常、管理者は以下のコマンドを実行します。 
satellite-sync -c your-channel
このコマンドを実行すると、rhn_parent (通常は RHN Hosted、rhn.redhat.com) からデータが直接ダウンロードされます。ステージング Satellite Server のアドレスから同期する場合、管理者は以下のコマンドを実行します。 
satellite-sync --iss-parent=staging-satellite.example.com -c custom-channel
