第24章 タブレット

システムに接続している Wacom タブレットを管理するには、次のツールを使用します。

  • gnome-settings-daemon サービス

libinput スタックとこの両ツールは、Wacom タブレットのデータを格納する libwacom タブレットのクライアントライブラリーを使用します。

新規タブレットのサポートを libwacom ライブラリーに追加する場合は、この新規タブレットの定義ファイルが存在することを確認する必要があります。

24.1. タブレット定義ファイルの準備

libwacom タブレットのクライアントライブラリーでは、追加するタブレットに定義ファイルが必要です。

タブレット定義ファイルが存在することを確認するには、以下の手順に従います。

前提条件

  • libwacom が認識するローカルデバイスのリストを表示します。

    $ libwacom-list-local-devices

    出力で、デバイスが認識されている。

    お使いのデバイスがリストにない場合は、デバイスが libwacom のデータベースにないことを示しています。ただし、デバイスが、/proc/bus/input/devices 配下にカーネルのイベントデバイスとして表示され、X.Org ディスプレイサーバーを使用する場合は、xinput リストの X11 に表示されます。

手順

  1. タブレット定義ファイルを提供するパッケージをインストールします。

    # yum install libwacom-data

    このパッケージは、/usr/share/libwacom/ ディレクトリーにタブレット定義をインストールします。

  2. 定義ファイルが /usr/share/libwacom/ ディレクトリーにあるかどうかを確認します。

    画面のマッピングを正しく使用するには、使用しているタブレットのサポートが、libwacom データベースおよび udev ルールファイルに組み込まれている必要があります。

    重要

    デバイスが libwacom に対応していない一般的なインジケーターは、GNOME セッションでは正常に機能しても、デバイスは画面に正しくマッピングされません。

  3. デバイスの定義ファイルが /usr/share/libwacom/ で利用できない場合は、以下のいずれかの方法で対処できます。

    • linuxwacom/libwacom アップストリームリポジトリーで、必要な定義ファイルが利用できる可能性があります。そのリポジトリーで、必要な定義ファイルを探してみてください。タブレットモデルがリストにある場合は、ファイルをローカルマシンにコピーします。
    • タブレットの定義ファイルを新たに作成できます。以下のような data/wacom.example ファイルを使用し、デバイスの特性に基づいて特定の行を編集します。
