2.8. iostat
iostat ツールは sysstat パッケージで提供され、管理者が物理ディスク間で入出力ロードを分散する方法について決定を行うのに役に立つようシステムの入出力デバイスロードの監視と報告を行います。iostat ツールは iostat を最後に実行した時点または起動した時点からのプロセッサーあるいはデバイスの使用状況を報告します。iostat(1) man ページで定義されているパラメーターを使用すると、特定のデバイスの報告の出力のみを表示できます。
