10.1. アップグレードまたはインストールの選択
自動インプレースアップグレードがサポートされるようになりましたが、サポートは現在 AMD64 および Intel 64 システムに限定されます。IBM Power Systems サーバーに Red Hat Enterprise Linux の旧リリースのインストールが存在する場合は、Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 に移行するためにクリーンインストールを実行する必要があります。クリーンインストールとは、システムの全データのバックアップ、ディスクパーティションのフォーマット化、インストールメディアからの Red Hat Enterprise Linux のインストール、ユーザーデータの復元を指します。
