systemd
systemd は、Red Hat Enterprise Linux の以前のリリースで使用された SysV に代わる linux のシステムおよびサービスマネージャーです。systemd は、SysV および LSB (Linux Standard Base） init スクリプトと互換性があります。
systemd は、とりわけ以下の機能を提供します。
- アグレッシブな並列化機能。
- サービス起動時のソケットおよび D-Bus アクティベーションの使用
- デーモンのオンデマンド起動
- 制御グループの管理
- システム状態スナップショットの作成とシステム状態の回復
