3.2. ハードウェアの互換性について
旧システムや自作のシステムを使用している場合、ハードウェアの互換性は特に重要です。Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.9 は、過去 2 年以内に工場生産された大半のハードウェアと互換性があります。
ただし、ハードウェアの仕様はほとんど毎日ように変化しているため、ハードウェアと 100% 互換性があることを保証するのは困難です。
要件が一貫しているのはプロセッサーです。Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.9 は、最小でも P6 以降の Intel マイクロアーキテクチャー、Athlon 以降の AMD マイクロアーキテクチャーの 32 ビットおよび 64 ビットいずれの実装にもすべて対応しています。
