34.5. Kdump
このシステム上で Kdump を使用するかどうかを選択するには、この画面を使用します。Kdump とは、カーネルクラッシュをダンプするメカニズムです。システムクラッシュが発生した際には、Kdump がシステムから情報を収集します。この情報は、クラッシュの原因究明に極めて重要となる可能性があります。
このオプションを選択した場合には、Kdump 用にメモリーを確保する必要があり、そのメモリーは他の目的では使用できなくなる点に注意してください。

このシステムで Kdump を使用しない場合には、 をクリックします。Kdump を使用する場合には、Enable kdump (kdump を有効にしますか) オプションを選択し、Kdump 用に確保するメモリー容量を選択してから、 をクリックします。
