28.6.1. 起動用メディアを検証する
ISO ベースのインストールソースは先にその整合性を検証してから Red Hat Enterprise Linux のインストールに使用することができます。インストールソースとは DVD、ハードドライブや NFS サーバーに格納している ISO イメージなどを指します。インストールを行う前に ISO イメージに損傷がないか検証することでインストール中によく遭遇する問題を避けることができます。
Red Hat Enterprise Linux では 2 種類のインストール ISO 検証方法が提供されています。
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux DVD から起動している場合、プロンプトで OK を選択してインストール前にメディアのテストを行います。
mediacheckオプションで Red Hat Enterprise Linux を起動します。
