3.5. UEFI 対応に関する注意点
3.5.1. 機能サポート
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.9 では AMD64 および Intel 64 のシステムの場合 (x86_64)、BIOS、UEFI ファームウェアの両方に対応しています。UEFI ベースのシステムに対応する場合は次のような制限があります。
- UEFI Specification 2.0 またはそれ以降に対応していなければなりません。これより古いリビジョンには対応していません。
- Secure Boot テクノロジーには対応していないため、このテクノロジーにより Red Hat Enterprise Linux のインストールが阻止されます。UEFI Specification 2.2 またはそれ以降を使用するシステムで Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.9 をインストールして稼働させる場合は Secure Boot 機能を無効にしておく必要があります。
UEFI 2.0 またはそれ以降を使用しているシステムで Secure Boot 機能を無効にしていれば問題なく Red Hat Enterprise Linux をインストールして起動することができます。ただし、該当する UEFI 仕様の全機能に対応するわけではないため注意してください。
