自動インプレースアップグレードに対応するようになりましたが、対応システムが現在 AMD64 および Intel 64 に限定されています。IBM Power Systems サーバーに Red Hat Enterprise Linux のインストールが存在する場合は、Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 に移行するためにはクリーンインストールを行う必要があります。クリーンインストールとは、システムの全データのバックアップ、ディスクパーティションのフォーマット化、インストールメディアからの Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 のインストール、ユーザーデータの復元を指します。
