E.3.6. /proc/irq/
このディレクトリは、IRQ を CPU アフィニティに設定するのに使用します。これにより、システムは、特定の IRQ を単一の CPU のみに接続することができます。又、特定の CPU が IRQ を一切処理しないようにすることもできます。
各 IRQ には、独自のディレクトリがあり、各 IRQ に個別の設定をすることができます。
/proc/irq/prof_cpu_mask ファイルは、IRQ ディレクトリ内の smp_affinity ファイル用のデフォルト値を格納するビットマスクです。smp_affinity 内の値は、特定の IRQ にどの CPU が対応するかを指定します。
