11.7.1. JBoss IIOP
IIOP (Internet Inter-ORB Protocol) は CORBA サーバー上でリモート機能を呼び出すために CORBA クライアントによって使用される通信プロトコルです。JBoss IIOP は、EJB 仕様によって定義されるとおり、JBoss EAP サーバー上にデプロイされたエンタープライズ Bean への CORBA/IIOP アクセスをサポートします。これにより、Java で書かれた RMI および IIOP クライアントや、Java、C++、およびその他の言語で書かれた CORBA クライアントがエンタープライズ Bean メソッドを利用できます。IIOP エンジンは CORBA に完全対応する他のエンジンに置き換えることができます。デフォルトのエンジンは、CORBA 標準の無料の実装である JacORB です。
