23.9.1. EJB セッション Bean
EJB エンティティ Bean はEJB 仕様のバージョン 2.x からのエンタープライズ bean の一種で、データベースで保持された永続データを表します。エンティティー Bean より JPA エンティティーが優先され、今後の仕様バージョンから削除 (プルーニング) される公式一覧に挙げられています。Red Hat は後方互換性を維持する以外の目的でエンティティー Bean を使用することを推奨しません。
JBoss EAP 6 ではエンティティー Bean のサポートはデフォルトで無効になっています。
