4.4.7. Nuovo formato in /etc/ifconfig
In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 il formato dell'output per lo strumento ifconfig deprecato è stato modificato. Gli script che analizzano l'output di ifconfig possono essere interessati da questa modifica e per questo dovranno essere riscritti.
Red Hat consiglia l'uso dell'utilità ip e dei comandi relativi (
ip addr, ip link) al posto di ifconfig.
