Da notare che l'installazione di Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 è supportata solo su hardware a 64-bit. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 può essere eseguito su sistemi operativi a 32-bit, incluse le versioni precedenti di Red Hat Enterprise Linux, come macchine virtuali.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 (little endian) è attualmente supportato solo come guest KVM con gli hypervisor Red Hat Enteprise Virtualization for Power e PowerVM.
