9.17.2. Modalità rescue
La modalità di ripristino fornisce la possibilità di avviare un piccolo ambiente Red Hat Enterprise Linux interamente da un dispositivo d'avvio o da un qualsiasi altro metodo d'avvio diverso dall'hard drive del sistema. Tuttavia, a volte Red Hat Enterprise Linux non riesce ad accedere ai file dell'hard drive. Grazie alla modalità di ripristino è possibile accedere ai file contenuti nell'hard drive anche se non siete in grado di eseguire Red Hat Enterprise Linux dallo stesso hard drive. Se avete bisogno di usare la modalità di ripristino provate il seguente metodo:
- Avviare un sistema x86, AMD64, o Intel 64 da qualsiasi dispositivo di installazione, ad esempio CD, DVD, USB, o PXE, e digitare
linux rescueal prompt d'avvio di installazione. Consultare Capitolo 36, Recupero di base del sistema per una descrizione più completa della modalità di ripristino.
