Le release precedenti di Red Hat Enterprise Linux supportavano le architetture POWER a 32-bit e 64-bit (rispettivamente
ppc e ppc64). Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 supporta solo l'architettura POWER a 64-bit (ppc64).
