Usare il nodo del dispositivo mappato (
/dev/mapper/<name>) come qualsiasi altro dispositivo a blocchi. Per creare un filesystem ext2 sul dispositivo mappato, usare il seguente comando:
mke2fs /dev/mapper/<name>
Per montare questo filesystem su
/mnt/test, usare il seguente comando:
