Abstract

This reference architecture reviews Highly-Available and Scalable Complex Event Processing (HACEP), which aims to provide a common framework for HA and scalability using Red Hat JBoss Business Rules Management System's CEP capabilities. The paper walks through the deployment and implementation of a few examples showcasing the various features that the framework offers and providing a thorough description of the steps required for establishing a highly-available, scalable, and CEP-capable architecture stack.
