Install the Python software development kit.
Procedure 1.1. Installing the Python Software Development Kit
- Enable the required channels:
# subscription-manager repos --enable=rhel-7-server-rpms # subscription-manager repos --enable=rhel-7-server-rhv-4.0-rpms
- Install the required packages:
- For V3:
# yum install ovirt-engine-sdk-python
- For V4:
# yum install python-ovirt-engine-sdk4
The Python software development kit and accompanying documentation are downloaded to the
/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/ovirtsdk/ directory, and can now be added to Python projects.
