4.5. Publishing a Content View
If you have successfully completed all of the preceding steps, your Red Hat Satellite now has one content view, which contains three Red Hat Enterprise Linux repositories, and one Puppet Module. The next step is to publish it to the Library.
Procedure 4.5. To Publish a Content View to the Library:
- Click → to display the Content Views page.
- Click the name of the Content View that you want to publish.
- Click to display the Publish New Version page. This specifies the version and allows you to enter a comment to reflect any changes made to the content view.
- Click to publish the Content View to the Library. You can monitor the publication progress on the screen that appears.
- When the publishing process is complete, click to display the list of available Promotion Paths (Library -> Dev -> QA).
- Select the check box for the Dev environment, and then click .
