8.11. Removing the Overcloud

The whole Overcloud can be removed when desired.

Procedure 8.2. Removing the Overcloud

  1. Delete any existing Overcloud: 
    $ heat stack-delete overcloud
  2. Confirm the deletion of the Overcloud: 
    $ heat stack-list
    Deletion takes a few minutes.
Once the removal completes, follow the standard steps in the deployment scenarios to recreate your Overcloud.
