3.6. No Application Rewrites
Red Hat Storage servers are POSIX compatible and use XFS file system format to store data on disks, which can be accessed using industry-standard access protocols including NFS and SMB. Thus, there is no need to rewrite applications when moving data to the cloud as is the case with traditional cloud-based object storage solutions.
