3.2. Prerequisites for Using realmd
To use the
realmd system, install the realmd package.
# yum install realmd
In addition, make sure that the oddjob, oddjob-mkhomedir, sssd, and adcli packages are installed. These packages are required to be able to manage the system using
realmd.
Note
As mentioned in Section 3.4, “Discovering and Joining Identity Domains”, you can simply use
realmd to find out which packages to install.
