3.4. Removing Control Groups
Remove cgroups with the
cgdeletecommand that has syntax similar to that of
cgcreate. Enter the following command as
- controllers is a comma-separated list of controllers.
- path is the path to the cgroup relative to the root of the hierarchy.
cgdeletecan also recursively remove all subgroups when the
-roption is specified.
Note that when you delete a cgroup, all its processes move to its parent group.
