5.14. Cleaning up Multipath Files on Package Removal
If you should have occasion to remove the
device-mapper-multipath rpm. file, note that this does not remove the /etc/multipath.conf, /etc/multipath/bindings, and /etc/multipath/wwids files. You may need to remove those files manually on subsequent installations of the device-mapper-multipath package.
