During system installation, select the
Java Platformadd-on to install OpenJDK as the default Java version.Alternatively, follow the instructions in Red Hat JBoss Developer Studio Installation Guide, Section Installing OpenJDK on Red Hat Enterprise Linux to install OpenJDK separately.
- For an integrated graphical development environment, install the Eclipse-based Red Hat JBoss Developer Studio offering extensive support for Java development. Follow the instructions in Red Hat JBoss Developer Studio Installation Guide.
