nodesuspend command puts the host physical machine into a system-wide sleep state similar to that of Suspend-to-RAM (s3), Suspend-to-Disk (s4), or Hybrid-Suspend and sets up a Real-Time-Clock to wake up the node after the duration that is set has past. The
--target option can be set to either
hybrid. These options indicate to set the memory, disk, or combination of the two to suspend. Setting the
--duration instructs the host physical machine to wake up after the set duration time has run out. It is set in seconds. It is recommended that the duration time be longer than 60 seconds.
