16.9.1. Introduction
virt-inspector is a tool for inspecting a disk image to find out what operating system it contains.
Note
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2 provides two variations of this program:
virt-inspector is the original program as found in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 and is now deprecated upstream. virt-inspector2 is the same as the new upstream virt-inspector program.
