6.2. Debugging P2V conversions
Problems encountered during P2V conversion can be more easily explained to engineers or support services if debugging messages are enabled when running
virt-p2v.
P2V debugging is available in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 and above.
To enable P2V debugging, select the Enable server-side debugging check box on the convert screen in the
virt-p2v client before clicking the button.
This instructs the server to write
LIBGUESTFS_TRACE and LIBGUESTFS_DEBUG output during the virt-p2v conversion process.
