2.39. shadow-utils
The nfs-utils packages provide a daemon for the kernel Network File System (NFS) server and related tools, which provides better performance than the traditional Linux NFS server used by most users. These packages also contain the mount.nfs, umount.nfs, and showmount programs.
- Previously, under certain circumstances, the faillog utility created huge files. This problem has been fixed; however, the useradd utility can still create large files. To avoid such a situation, use the
-loption when creating a user with a very high user or group ID (UID or GID). (BZ#670364)
