Chapter 4. Upgrading Your Administration Server
Periodically, Red Hat will provide updated packages for Ceph Storage. You may get the latest version of ice_setup and upgrade your administration server with the latest packages. To upgrade your administration server, perform the following steps:
Using
sudo, update your Calamari admin node to the latest version of ice_setup. (You will need at least version 0.3.0.)sudo yum update ice_setup
Using
sudo, runice_setupwith theupdate allsub-command.ice_setupwill synchronize the new packages from the Red Hat CDN onto the local repository on your Calamari admin node.sudo ice_setup update all
The updated packages will now be available to the nodes in your cluster with
yum update.sudo yum update
If the updates contain new packages for your Ceph Storage Cluster, you should upgrade your cluster too. See Storage Cluster Upgrade for details.
