This appendix describes in detail how Search works in Red Hat Storage Console.
Each part of the query syntax is explained in greater detail below.

As you type each part of a search query, a drop-down list of choices for the next part of the search opens below the Search Bar. You can either select from the list and then continue typing/selecting the next part of the search, or you can ignore the options and continue entering your query manually.
The following table shows how Red Hat Storage Console auto-completion assists in query construction. It shows what the drop-down list will display as the administrator inputs text into the search field.
