Chapter 6. Raising a Bugzilla Request

6.1. Raising a request using the Bugzilla interface

  1. Log in to the Red Hat Bugzilla page. The following link will take you to a partially pre-filled Red Hat Software Certification bug form: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=Red%20Hat%20Software%20Certification. You may be required to log in with the credentials provided by your Partner Management Contact.
  2. Ensure the new bug is filed against the Red Hat Software Certification product and the appropriate component:
    • certification-cloud
    • certification-rhel
Select other details in the form as appropriate.
  3. Complete the 'Summary' and 'Description' fields with relevant details regarding the request. Ensure you include the application name and release version, your application's website, details of any package dependencies, the results of an rpm -qpi command and whether or not you are using SELinux policies.
  4. Use the 'Attachment' button to add any relevant attachments.
  5. Submit the completed report to obtain a request number.
