Will perform work on an IndexWriter.

Parameters:

work - the LuceneWork to apply to the IndexWriter.

writer - the IndexWriter to use.

monitor - will be notified of performed operations

Throws:

UnsupportedOperationException - when the work is not compatible with an IndexWriter.
