Tutorial Overview

Goals

In this tutorial you will:

  • install Apache Directory Server and Apache Directory Studio

  • add user entries into the LDAP server

  • add a group to manage security roles

  • configure Fuse ESB Enterprise to use LDAP authentication

  • configure Fuse ESB Enterprise to use roles for authorization

  • configure an instance of Apache ActiveMQ to use LDAP authentication

  • configure SSL/TLS connections to the LDAP server

Tutorial stages

The tutorial consists of the following stages:

  1. Set-up a Directory Server and Browser.

  2. Add User Entries to the Directory Server.

  3. Enable LDAP Authentication in the OSGi Container.

  4. Configuring Access to OSGi Administrative Functions.

  5. Enable SSL/TLS on the LDAP Connection.
