In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 wurde die Hostname-Variable in der
/etc/sysconfig/network Konfigurationsdatei definiert. Aufgrund des Wechsels zum neuen Init-System systemd wird in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 die hostname Variable nun in /etc/hostname definiert.
