Alle Meldungen, die ausgegeben werden, passieren ein Protokollierungsmodul mit unabhängiger Auswahl der Protokollierungsebene für:
- Standard-Ausgabefehler
- syslog
- Protokolldatei
- externe Protokollierung
Die Protokollierungsebenen werden in der Datei
/etc/lvm/lvm.conf gesetzt, wie in Anhang B, Die LVM-Konfigurationsdateien beschrieben.
