Interoperability between EAP5 and EAP6

We all know that EJB interoperability is fleetingly existent for EAP 4  and 5.  Most of the time, without IIOP, it doesn't work, and frankly, IIOP isn't a good answer.

Is it important to provide interoperability to between EJB5 and 6? and interoperability for EAP5 clients and EAP 6 messaging?
