  • Integrate AAP - Automation Orchestrator - 2 : Unable to Call AAP Playbok from Automation Orchestrator

    Posted on

I have successfully integrate my Automation Orchestrator to my Ansible Automation Platform. The next issue is selecting a playbook to run from my Ansible Automation Platform. I always get this error

Which is pretty confusing, because I can access my AAP with that credential. I also check that my Automation Orchestrator have the authorization to use the credential data, which negate this error log i found on the backend log

    {"detail": "User 1606f8a2-d817-421d-8e07-055c9decdef8 is not authorized to use credential 712d02bd-e674-4af3-b8f3-8b1dc88727a9", "event": "AAP Controller authentication failed", "level": "error", "timestamp": "2026-09-04T08:09:23.305603Z", "exception": "Traceback (most recent call last):\n File \"/opt/app-root/src/.venv/lib64/python3.12/site-packages/starlette/_exception_handler.py\", line 42, in wrapped_app\n await app(scope, receive, sender)\n File \"/opt/app-root/src/.venv/lib64/python3.12/site-packages/fastapi/routing.py\", line 144, in app\n response = await f(request)\n ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^\n File \"/opt/app-root/src/.venv/lib64/python3.12/site-packages/fastapi/routing.py\", line 706, in app\n raw_response = await run_endpoint_function(\n ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^\n File \"/opt/app-root/src/.venv/lib64/python3.12/site-packages/fastapi/routing.py\", line 352, in run_endpoint_function\n return await dependant.call(**values)\n ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^...

Does anyone experience the same thing? Or anybody can share the step to call ansible playbook from automation orchestrator?
