  • [SOLVED] RedHat installation not finding disk.

    Posted on

    Hello RHEL friends,

I am trying to install RedHat on my Dell PowerEdge R410. I am installing RedHat 9.4 even tho I have a slight feeling I might have to install RedHat 6.0 - 6.x (https://catalog.redhat.com/hardware/system/detail/1680), but I can't find the iso download for that.
When in the installer, it does not show the HDD I have inside, in TTY 2

    lsblk
only shows the USB I have for installation.
Any ideas what the issue could be? I managed to install Gentoo, with a Gentoo bootable USB
    lsblk
correctly shows all the drives present.
In the server's firmware I can change "SATA Settings" between: ATA Mode, AHCI Mode, RAID Mode and OFF, but non of this options made my drive show in the installer.
